2003 HONDA CB 750 NIGHTHAWK
Starting my Nighthawk. Last of the cb750's. A homage to the legendary old-school air-cooled 4-cylinder naked standard.

Yeah, that’s a nice bike. I drive a 2000 Yamaha XJ 600 N. Looks VERY similar to your honda. Drive safely =) Cheers.
Thanks bro! About parts…not really hard, although the only part I have had to replace so far are tires. There is s Nighthawk lovers group omline you might want to check out for resourecs. keep the shiny side up.
dude, thats a nice one… really nice! I’m in the process of buying one for olny 700 smacks! I may have to paint it red cause that looks great on it Its a little beat up and had got knocked over in a parking lot :. Anyways needs handle bars and a few other things motors got a few cooling fin corners broke off but nothing major. Is it np to get parts for these? thanks again nice bike:)
I have the same bike. I just picked up a 1995 with 45k on it. Changed oils, plugs. cleaned air filter and she runs line new. Only worried about rear turn lights. Do they stay on like the ones in front. They work when i use the turn signal switch.
They weren’t selling enough of them, but on the other hand they spent zero dollars promoting them. Even Coca Cola spends millions on new ads every year. Honda should promote this bike for future generations to discover. Simple, reliable, good looking, inexpensive, and fast.
It boggles my mind why honda discontinued this model in the us.
Mines a 92 and I have little if any complaints.. all around good bike
Unfortunately it hasn’t been slotted for the USA. It looks pretty cool. The tank has a new folded curve in it, the stalks are chromed, it has what appears to be a superior racing rear shock, and it has the rear disc. You should be able to find one bt typing: cb 750 2009 in a google image search. There are rumors that another incarnation will eventually appear here in the states. Keep the shiny side up.
Nice bike, you said the Japanese have a new Nighthawk for 2009? Any idea what that bike is like and if it will make it to the U.S.?
lol..i was thinkin the same thing….I picked up my 92 a few months ago…I paid $1000 …woo hoo im gunaa tell chicks mine is a 2003,lol
Yep a 2003. A major difference is the ‘92 doesn’t have the blacked out engine. Otherwise they are almost identical. It’s basically the same bike that was released 40 years ago in 1969, except it got DOHC and hydraulic lifters. 2003 is the last year for the 750 but in Japan they just released a new one for 2009. They still make the 250 I think.
Actually that’s true. HDs are getting better all the time. Auto-adjusting valves and belt drive appeared on Japanese bikes many many years ago. The CB750 being one of them.
is that really 2003? looks just like 1992
Hey, I just commented on your Angelina Jolie video, and it’s kinda funny because I ride as well. I’ve got a dual purpose right now, and I also ride Harleys. The thing about the new Harleys is, yes, they may be expensive, but I find their overall quality on their parts to be far superior to the equivalent Jap cruisers. Also, the HD bikes (including some Buell models) have auto-adjusting valves and belt drive, so there is virtually only oil changes for maintenance on the bikes (in general).
Harley’s don’t suck. I love Harley’s too because of what they represent. Engineering pioneerism and free-spirited freedom. They are loud, bad-ass machines and were so before Mr. Honda was born. But today compared to Jap bikes, they are overpriced and underperforming. Pound for pound the Jap bike is better in almost every way. But ironically even the Japs now all make Harley style V-Twin copies of the legendary HD cruiser.
I also have a Nighthawk 750. I paid $1800 for a ‘91 with 10,000 miles (really sweet deal, mainly because the bike was dropped once but the damage is only cosmetic). It’s a great bike and a quick one
Hey there Yankfroggy. I’ve got one just like. A 2003 and all. Mine has about 12K on it and I paid 4K for it so you got a real good deal. This is my 2nd Nighthawk and I love it.
Yeah!!Rock on!!!! Thanks!
Cheers
That bodes well for the longevity of my bike! Hey I checked out yours and love the way you did that video with the skulls. Those flowing dissolving close-ups are cool. I can tell you’re an artist too.
Nice looking Nighthawk. Hot red. I paid $1500for 1992 with 35,000 miles on it about five years ago. Dependable and low maintenace.
Lots of fun, drive safe!
