hey ultraswg, quit bashing harley go trade in your dildo and buy a harley.
The Victory IS a metric bike. It says so in it’s specs.Anyway, as far as the time the Victory was launched, yes…it was the first new all American motorcycle. Why? No one else was introducing a new line at that moment. It’s all in the marketing hype, folks.
Ultraswg is obviously a victory lover.
Harleys does not use metric fasteners – Google it.
I own a V-Rod and a Roadking. Both have metric fasteners, in fact the Revolution Engine in the V-Rod was designed by Porsche, so it uses almost 90% metric fasteners. The engine is even measured in cubic centimeters, not inches. The tool kit for my Roadking comes with a 15mm wrench. So you were saying?
Harleys does not use metric fasteners
Yes Harley’s use metric fasteners. The V-Rod is completely metric. You can easily verify this by doing a search for the Harley Toolkit on gogle. Here, I’ll quote it:”Designed specifically for the V-Rod™, this is the ideal carry along tool kit for your VRSC models. This kit includes the metric tools required to perform most service functions with the least amount of carrying weight.”Deny it all you want, but HD’s website doesn’t lie about the tools.
Do a google search for:”Harley went metric on the front end”And the very first post shows you are wrong. Harley’s use metric bolts and have been for years.
That is a hdforum talking shit – How about a better source you clown!! Go ride your metric polaris fag bike.
Wow. You’re a real lunatic and you don’t know shit about Harleys.
