Rain & cold is no problem as long as the mag. is sealed properly. I live in Oregon with both rain and cold and it will start anytime.

Very nice bike. How does the magneto ign. work when it is rain/cold? Have tried it back home (norway..) but too damn cold up here. looks great though. Respect!

FingerLickinGravy67 February 22, 2010 at 12:51 am

thas what my old man thinks, he hates the footclutch n says its enough of a deathtrap as it is, but i just keep thinkin u just gotta get use to it man

Popout1959 February 22, 2010 at 1:22 am

What the great bike Man ! genial

djfung February 22, 2010 at 1:40 am

yeah, thinking to turn my future Bonneville to jockey shift chopper. seems to be easier with a lighter bike with a smaller engine (less torque to send you forward in case of slipping the clutch foot. )

Randie1957 February 22, 2010 at 2:35 am

Its not that it’s hard to use a jocky shift, but it does take some practice before it becomes second nature. Then you will never go back to a hand clutch, too boreing.

djfung February 22, 2010 at 2:40 am

exactly how hard is it to ride jokey and suicide clutch? this bike looks deadly.
