Everybody even with a minimum knowledge of engine mechanics will tell you that this quicksh*t will kill your gerbox in no time. How can you shift gears without decreasing revs? Think about the loads which pinions in a gearbox and clutch / flywheel surfaces get exposed to.

@freedomsoldier187 A few people have told me not to argue with you because you don’t know what you are talking about, but I will say this: torque isn’t everything. It ultimately comes down to rider skill, but most good 600-675 riders will be able to out-maneuver and lay waste to 1000cc riders. 1000′s are heavier, and are faster in a straight line, but that’s it. So with acceleration u don’t need to use the clutch? What about decelerating?

@freedomsoldier187 Huh? They make 1050′s and I’ve personally seen great riders on their 675 triples (like this one) beat the pants off 1000 riders on gsx-r’s and ducatis. Don’t be put off by cc’s. It’s like being concerned about megapixels on a camera, it means very little.

I would so buy a triumph if they made a 1000
